I am a PhD candidate at Northumbria University where I have begun to explore a research project that seeks to address the paucity of research on the motivation, reasoning and cultural value of UK artist led publishing. I am currently in the research design phase of the project, this phase incorporates a mapping project of the UK artist led publishing scene looking to identify key/dominant and ‘absent’ voices from a practitioner and critical dialogue perspective.
